Video Blogging

The world of internet marketing is ever changing. With each new advancement in technology there is a faster, better way of tapping into all the billions of dollars flying around in cyber space. One hot ticket from 2008 and surging forward in 2009 is video blogging.

Times have made it real simple to pick up an inexpensive camcorder or even a cell phone to record to your hearts content. The demand for easy / cheap recording was brought on by sites like YouTube that allow the youth of America to share with the whole world what happens with a public school system gone bad.  Being entertained by 3 minute snippets of the bizarre and just plain stupid is a favorite around the world…  But some quick thinking entrepreneurs saw past all that and was drumming up ways to profit from it.

Video marketing is a powerful tool for drawing traffic to your site. Free commercials. Even if you don’t have a camcorder, most people can put together a slide show, record it and upload for the world to see with free programs like camstudio.

Besides driving traffic to your site, you can create video websites.  Again, advancements in technology ( as far as internet marketing goes ) has made this quite easy.

We know that search engines favor sites that are updated frequently. We know that RSS can automate the advertising efforts. So what if you could plug in a couple of keywords and draw videos in from Youtube with out you having to host them or using your bandwidth? Even better is that we can now update the site automatically. In turn updating the search engines of the changes get them spidered and indexed all hands free.  All the while you can add you Adsense code or affiliate program.

And if that’s not good enough…

It only takes a couple of minutes to create each one with Instant Video Site

I just finished watching some amazing videos to increase site traffic in only 7 days.
Since my post about one-way quality links -also meant to increase website traffic- has been received very well and many people are now on their way to get inbound links, let’s discuss more traffic increasing ways today.

First a note about these one-way inbound links.
The way I get them is almost automatic. Since I started testing this link network tool a couple of weeks ago, I have over 150 inbound links.

This system build links slowly, as it should be. It takes me 10 minutes each day, and that’s only because I want to see who’s linking to me and, more importantly, who I want to link to.

You can also set it on fully automatic, so you don’t have to lift a finger after setting your site up. And the set up is quite easy when you use the automatic spider function that recognizes all pages in your site and puts them in a file that you can upload to the system.

Check it out now so you can increase your website traffic too.

But how about your internal linking structure? Is it designed and optimized to fully profit from these incoming links, so you can increase your website traffic?

If not, or if you’re in doubt, you should watch the videos I just saw. They show you exactly how to structure your internal website links to fully profit from the link juice passed.

And it isn’t limited to just one website. There’s a whole strategy laid out for linking related sites, so you can dominate the search engines for your keywords.

I don’t think many people use these strategies.
After watching the videos, I immediately made some changes in a couple of sites I own and operate. Because I think it’s powerful and I want to test it.

I’m prepared to share the results with you, but the thing is, you can watch the videos for less than 5 dollars right now and I have absolutely no idea for how long. So if you’re interested in increasing your traffic in 7 days, check it out now.

And then there’s Michalis Kotzakolios, maybe better known as “BIG Mike”, the Greek (or drunken) Warrior.

Big Mike created a new site a couple of weeks ago called Header Software. You really should visit that one if you’re interested in header graphics, because, after signing up, you will receive a professional header, footer and background image each and every day. They are in png format, so the quality is high and you can modify them to suit your needs.

Anyway, the reason I mention this site (apart from the free headers) is, that Mike has written a simple guide to increase his site traffic. Search engine optimizing experts won’t find anything new in there I guess, but for everyone else it’s a good (and easy) read.

Rather than a bunch of seo tricks and tips, it’s merely a report on what Mike has done to increase traffic to his new site. That makes it valuable, because it seems to work what he’s done. Traffic to his site is growing every day.

Mike allowed me to give it away to you. So, download your copy of “Stupidly Easy Optimization“.

In this report, Mike mentions a few of his products (RSS Bot, Directory Bot and Social Bot). I use them myself. They will help to generate more traffic, only they are somewhat expensive. However, clicking the links to these products in this file makes them available to your for only $9.95!
Wholeheartedly recommended to further increase your site traffic.

That’s it for today.
Enough to increase your site traffic I guess.
Let me know your thoughts.

Web Hosting With Cpanel

I have used different types of web hosting

control panel since I started online and the one that really caught my attention is web hosting with cpanel.

cPanel is the number one used control panel in the world as it is feature rich and user friendly. Personally, I am using web hosting with cpanel control by Hostgator. The reason why I am a cpanel lover is because it is the only control panel that can gives me a full view of all the statistics for my web hosting account.

Below are the benefits of web hosting with cpanel:

Benefit of Web Hosting With Cpanel #1) It has a stats sidebar that list you everything from your domain name

, disk space usage, monthly bandwidth transfer, email accounts, sub domains, parked domains, SQL database

and many more. It gives you a complete view of your whole hosting account without the need to click here and there to view some stats.

Benefit of Web Hosting With Cpanel #2) My Cpanel web hosting with Hostgator has the Fantastico Deluxe feature that allows me to install up to 52+ FREE scripts instantly and easily with a click of a button. With a click of the mouse, you can instantly install a script without any programming knowledge.

Benefit of Web Hosting With Cpanel #3) Cpanel also allows the users to switch the interface of the control panel to suit their preference. Therefore it gives you an option to switch to a interface that you find the most easiest to use.

Benefit of Web Hosting With Cpanel #4) As most internet marketers

are using web hosting with cpanel, therefore most of the scripts or softwares are demonstrated with cpanel instead of other control panels. Therefore you will find it easier to install those software to your website as you are using the same cpanel control panel as them.

Personally, I will only use web hosting with cpanel as it is the most user friendly control panel I have used so far.

Importance of Tracking Web Traffic - PPC

Keeping track of traffic on your website is vital. This is an important aspect of search engine optimization too. You need to know how much traffic your website receives everyday in order to make short term and long term marketing strategies. Also the tracking helps in fine tuning ROI (Return On Investments) from the website.

• Very few website owners have idea about how many visitors visit their website, where they come from, which pages they visit. Website traffic tracking deals with the following

• How many people visit the website everyday, every month

• What is the source of the visits on the website that is from where the visitors come?

• Segmentation and classification of traffic originating from search engines, PPC programs, and affiliate network programs, links from other directories, paid banner advertising etc.

• What keywords are typed by the visitors in the search engines to reach the website?
What is the typical navigation by a visitor on your website?

Answers to above can help you maximize the ROI (Return On Investments) and optimize your marketing spend.

There are many third party free online tools available which you can use to monitor the traffic. There are certain limitations on free accounts as you can not store more data through them. The paid options give you more storage and you can have data for a longer duration. The typical parameters which should be considered for web traffic monitoring are:

• The number of visitors
• Average number of page views per visitor
• Average visit duration
• Most popular pages
• Most popular landing pages
• Frequent exit pages
• Path of a visitor
• Source of traffic

Once you analyze the above parameters, you can work effectively on search engine optimization and you can significantly improve your ROI (Return On Investments).

List Building - Old Or New Model?

In the beginning it was incredibly easy to build a targeted contact list of potential customers in any market by simply building a web site, (Using Note Pad), optimizing it for search engines with meta- tags and a few key words, then offering a news letter on that site. Period! End of Story! Ah for the glory days.

Where We’ve Been

So Internet marketing largely consisted of mass, outbound e-mail blasts and getting e-mail sales pitches right with links to a purchase page. E-mail technology jockeys found themselves acting as new-age marketers and it became more about crafting the perfect e-mail than about getting the right message to the right customer via the right channel(s).

And so the foundation was laid for the most critical mistake entrepreneurs have made with Internet marketing to date: failing to integrate the ‘relationship building first’ aspect of marketing into their business model. Relationship building with prospective clients had long been considered a necessary part of winning over potential buyers in traditional, (Off line), businesses for literally centuries.

Obviously the initial lack of competition in the early Internet years fostered this mind set because, if there is little to no competition, all you had to do was make a good sales presentation, ask them to buy, provide a way to take payment, deliver your product and put the money in the bank.

The Internet was so new, and there were so few people taking advantage of the marketing potential of the Internet, it was thought there just wasn’t much need to prove a marketer to be a solutions provider, or were someone that people in their market would want to do business with versus there competitors, because competitors were few and far between.

I’m not going to go through the different evolutions Internet Marketing has gone through up to now. You can find that information all over the web. Let’s suffice to say we are now at the evolution point where we are moving from “Two part, narrow channel marketing”, disciplines, to the realization that Internet marketing evolved separately from Relationship Marketing and Brand Marketing.

Yeah, yeah I know; there are people in the Internet Marketing industry that have established themselves as a brand and have made millions doing it. A few established themselves as a solution provider for their market early on by practicing relationship and brand building. But they were few and far between. Many of those that did succeed to “GURU Internet Marketer” status still ended up perpetuating the myth that the, “Two part, narrow channel marketing discipline”, was and is still a viable way to build a successful marketing business on line.

Please don’t get me wrong here. There are still markets that can sustain a business using the older type of business model. There are. But those markets are made up of people with these traits in common:

• They spend very little time on line
• They are part of an older generation (55 and up)
• They are new to the Internet.

You’ll have to admit, the numbers with those traits are growing smaller every day. However, they do still exist.

Again; it’s up to you to decide to use the old squeeze page method to build your contact list, the relationship building model or a combination of the 2.

If you’re not sure which business model will produce the desired results, start with the old, test it, and change it as necessary. Updating the old squeeze page model updating to the new relationship building model with your opt-in page as just part of that business model is easy to do if you already have the older model in place. As well you may want to eventually do both and see which performs the best. But the relationship building model will ultimately win out.
