FireFox Plug-ins For The Internet Marketer

No point in arguing – Firefox is the browser of choice for anyone that works with computers on a day to day basis. Not just Internet Marketers. And Firefox has more add-ons and plug-ins then Carter has liver pills. That being the case, it is easy to get carried away with all the cool, helpful features. Enough so that you could end up with no space left on your screen to see the web pages.

So with that in mind, I had to make a list… scale back to what I needed and use on almost a daily basis and this is the list I came up with.

(Feel free to add your own favorite in regards to marketing as a comment)

The Basics

SEO Quake

Seoquake is a Mozilla Firefox SEO extension aimed primarily at helping web masters who deal with search engine optimization(SEO) and internet promotion of web sites. Seoquake allows to obtain and investigate many important SEO parameters of the internet…

Search Status

Allows you to see how any and every website in the world is performing. Designed for the highly specialised needs of search engine marketers, this toolbar provides extensive search-related information about a site, all conveniently displayed in one discreet and compact toolbar.

NoDoFollow

Just a simple extension to highlight links in a page according to nofollow / dofollow status.

No script

The best security you can get in a web browser!
Allow active content to run only from sites you trust, and protect yourself against XSS and Clickjacking attacks.

PPCWebSpy

Secretly spy on & uncover anyones google-adword keywords while you browse Google in real-time.

Social Bookmarking

Stumble upon

StumbleUpon discovers web sites based on your interests, learns what you like and brings you more.

Del.icio.us Toolbar

Quickly add bookmarks to your Del.icio.us account, edit tags and access your account.

Digg

Lets you know if the page you are viewing has been dugg, how many it has received, recent comments and more.

Only wire

Can only be installed if you have an account. There is a free and paid version but it lists dozens of top social book marking sites to post your articles to.

Others

Web Development Tools

A bit more advanced, but it adds a menu and a toolbar with various web developer tools.

Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer

Foxmarks is the essential bookmarking add-on. Install Foxmarks on each computer you use, and it works silently in the background to keep your bookmarks and (optionally) passwords backed up and synchronized. If you’re away from your computer, Foxmarks allows you to access your bookmarks online by logging into my.foxmarks.com. Foxmarks’ Suggested Tag feature helps you stay organized by recommending relevant tags as you add bookmarks in Firefox 3.

Twitbin

The latest twitter plugin that can be used to send and receive messages from Twitter, it’s a sidebar (which, unfortunately, means it’s occupying the space where most users like to keep their bookmarks) and it looks quite nice.

UltimateFacebook 0.3.1

UltimateFacebook makes Facebook easier and more fun to use. It simplifies the way you (as a user) can move through Facebook’s core features, removing as many as 2-3 clicks from simple things like sending messages, writing on walls, viewing friends, etc. In addition, you can see how you connect to people on Facebook or bookmark them by simply right-clicking them. UltimateFacebook is a social ranking system that enables you to see who, of your friends, is ‘cooler’ than others based on how many of their friends are popular on Facebook. Think a mix of StumbleUpon + LinkedIn + Google PageRank for the social graph.

Unofficial Myspace Toolbar 2.0.1

Automatically login to Myspace, instantly access your messages, view hidden comments, create styled comments/bulletins and more with this intuitive and customizable toolbar…
